Wild Goose Chase

Today we will be covering a hot topic around the campus. (Enthusiastically) So lately, you may have been noticing green stuff popping up, and I don’t mean the spring time grass, I am talking about the geese or more specifically (pause) what they leave behind.
Many students have had concerns and complaints, about these waddling pests. Many of the concerns surround their (sound a hint disgusted) feces, them being in the way, or maybe even the fact that they could possibly attack you.
Some tips to prevent geese from feeling threatened and potentially attacking are (pause) not to feed them, touch them, or chase them. While some of these tips may seem obvious or common sense, they could prevent an attack from an angry goose.
So, what happens if you do get into a “goose chase”? First of all (pause) avoid all eye contact, stay calm cool and collected, do not turn your back to the goose and then slowly back away.
So! Keep these tips in mind, so the geese can live peacefully among us.  Just watch where you step! This is Elyse for the Lincoln Journal on the pulse.
